What's Included in my Participation in the Show +

NCC offers local artists and creatives the opportunity to connect with engaged fans and enthusiastic shoppers. There are many additional benefits that come along with joining our events! Here’s what we have to offer:

Your space Your space at New Craft Coalition includes access to electricity (if needed), one table and up to 2 chairs are available upon request at no additional charge.

Social Media Feature With a growing following across social media, we feature each participant in every show on both Facebook and Instagram. In addition, we handpick and feature exceptional show participants in our monthly newsletter.

Inclusion on NCC Website Our website’s artist roster puts your linked site in front of an engaged audience from the announcement of the show lineup on - roster pages remain on the site post-show, and are archived each year.

Collaboration NCC's open, community-minded shows give artists the opportunity to connect with neighbouring vendors - fostering ongoing relationships, potential collaborations, and other exciting opportunities.

Wholesale Opportunities Local buyers, gallerists and shop owners visit New Craft Coalition to discover new talent and unique works. Many of these reach out to featured artists at the shows and afterwards.

Jury Criteria +

New Craft Coalition is a juried event, and each application is reviewed carefully and thoughtfully. Our vision for each show is based on the following jury criteria:

HANDMADE New Craft Coalition is, at its heart, a collection of artists. We understand the definitions of art and craft can vary wildly, however it is essential that the artist be heavily involved in the creation of their work and that original works are displayed at the show.

QUALITY Our commitment to projecting a voice for Western Canadian makers requires that applicants' work adheres to a high standard of quality, using quality materials and techniques.

DISPLAY + BRANDING Presentation should reflect your current offerings and you portray an aesthetically pleasing and well designed presence both on-site and online.

In addition, your application is cohesive and you provide clear examples of your work (photos + Artist CV/Bio) for us to use in marketing you!

Cancellations + Refunds +

In the event you must cancel your participation: A full refund is offered less the $100 non-refundable deposit up to 30 days prior to the show.

For cancellations less than 30 days but more than 2 weeks, we offer a 50% refund on cancellations less the $100 non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations within two weeks of the show are not-refundable due to the proximity of the show.
